In what ways does your media product use, develop and challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
I used a template to base my digipak around. It gave me a base to design from, making this product very simple to make. I had looked into other artist’s digipaks, such as Rihanna and Lady Gaga and had noticed that they had images relating to a theme. For example, on Lady Gaga’s digipak, she had a black and white image, with her covered in messy dark make-up. The typography that she used looked like the text had been scratched out and this all connected. A way in which I used this idea was to link everything together. I had done this by having the typography as handwriting/graffiti. This linked to the graffiti included in the video and on the digipak itself.

Video Analysis
Notices all four songs I had assessed were cut quickly on every beat, especially on the chorus. Created a quick pace to the video, keeping it engaging for the audience to watch. Andrew Goodwin’s theory of amplification. Making sure that all/most of the things in the music video link or have relevance to the lyrics.
Handwriting of Toni Romiti’s ‘xoxo’ as her logo. Fetty Wap’s handwritten his name. Made it personal to her and thought this was an important way of interacting with the audience directly. Makes album and song very personal to Will. Follow Romiti’s fashion style – casual and not massive brands. Keeps it simple and relevant just to his individuality and making sure the focus is on him and not the brands he would be identified with. Same as Romiti and One Republic, Will uses a straight face as a pose to make emotions neutral to the audience.
